Plastic has quietly become part of almost every aspect of
modern life. Yet many plastic products are used only once before becoming waste
that lingers in our environment for generations. At Hanie Collective, we
believe everyday living can be both simpler and more sustainable.
Our mission is to reduce plastic pollution by offering eco-friendly
alternatives made from natural materials, thoughtfully crafted for everyday
use. From handmade beeswax food wraps and reusable bags to our natural skincare
products, each item is designed to help people make more mindful choices in
their daily routines.
Beyond reducing plastic, we believe natural materials often
work better than their conventional counterparts. Beeswax wraps, for
example, allow food to breathe and can help keep fruits, vegetables, and bread
fresh for longer compared to plastic wraps. Our solid lotion bars are rich in
nourishing plant butters and oils, providing deep moisture and hydration without
the fillers often found in conventional lotions.
We strive to keep our products as plastic-free as
possible, from ingredients to packaging, while ensuring they remain
practical and accessible for modern living. Whenever possible, we also source
ingredients locally, including beeswax from local beekeepers, to support
responsible and sustainable production.
Inspired by the belief that “Be the change you wish to
see in the world” – Mahatma Gandhi, Hanie Collective hopes to encourage
small but meaningful steps toward a more sustainable and healthier lifestyle.
Because when we care for the Earth, we are also caring for
ourselves, our communities, and the generations that will inherit this

The Hanie Journey - how it all began
I’m Stephanie, the founder of Hanie Collective. The name “Hanie” comes from the last five letters of my own name — a small reminder that this journey began with a personal desire to make a difference.
Before starting Hanie Collective, I was constantly searching for better ways to keep food fresh at home. Like many households, I wanted to reduce food waste and avoid making frequent grocery trips, so I experimented with different storage methods to help fruits, vegetables, and bread last longer.
Around the same time, I was also struggling with persistent eczema on my hands. Despite trying many moisturizers, creams, and even products recommended by specialists, my skin never seemed to fully recover. This made me more conscious about what we apply to our skin and the ingredients inside everyday personal care products.
The idea for Hanie Collective came unexpectedly when I came across a video of a Korean mother making beeswax food wraps at home. I was immediately fascinated by the simplicity and brilliance of the idea — a natural, reusable alternative to plastic cling wraps that could help keep food fresh.
That moment sparked something in me. I realised this could become more than just a product. It could be a meaningful way to help people reduce plastic in their daily lives while embracing more natural alternatives.
What began with handmade beeswax food wraps gradually grew into a collection of eco-friendly home and personal care products designed to support more mindful living.
Today, Hanie Collective continues to be guided by a simple belief: when we care for our environment, we are also caring for ourselves and future generations.
